Lamongan Beach Run 10KM 2016

JAPFA Foundation, a foundation that maximizes the Youth Potential through development of education, nutrition and sports, approached all the local communities and businesses in Lamongan to join the Lamongan Beach Run 10KM.

The objective for this event was to develop the local communities, to raise & promote healthy awareness and to seek potential local athletes. At the finishing line, a bazaar created by the local community was set up there, with local musical talents performing to create a lively environment.

Lamongan Shorebase was delighted to be the host for the 5KM starting line. Our in-house band East Life also had the privilege to perform on stage at the bazaar.

We would like to thank JAPFA foundation, the local communities and business organizations for a highly successful event, and for participating. Around 2,000 people attended the event during the day.

Halal Bi Halal 2016

Halal Bi Halal is the time where people visit their elders, family, friends, neighbors, and work colleagues to ask for forgiveness and show respect to them. This is usually done after Idul Fitri.

The Halal Bi Halal is held at the Elang Mas Training Center, with an open garden. More than 300 people attended the event, including our customers such as Haliburton, Petronas, Pertamina, Exxon, BP, and others.

It was a day to seek reconciliation and preserve harmonious relations by spending the rest of the evening dining, chatting and singing together.

Trinity Explorer Fender Repairs

Late in the evening, the Operations department received an urgent job from Trinity Explorer, one of our customer’s Supply Vessel.

The vessel’s fender was apparently damaged and needed emergency repairs to ensure that the vessel does not damage the jetty, or itself due to the unpredictable movement of the tides.

Our Lifting Specialist and his crew of riggers/banksmen rushed on-scene and was able to lift the fenders out and repair them before any damage could take place.

Food box Distribution Kemantren

During the fasting month of Ramadan, it is a yearly agenda for Eastern Logistics to initiate a charity program to distribute Food Boxes at Balai Desa Kemantren to show our appreciation to our closest community.

The food box distribution event was running for two days, 28 – 29 June 2016. The event started at 08:00am and finished late afternoon each day. As this is a charity program, many of Eastern Logistics staff attended and ensured that each person received their food box.

This year, we distributed more than 1,500 boxes in the two days.

Kemantren Break Fasting 2016

Every year at Kemantren, we celebrate the holy month of Ramadan together, and the rest of our neighborhood to come and dine with us. It is a great opportunity to see what the community is truly all about.

Ramadan is a means for the individual to create good habits, break bad ones, give charity, and improve morality. Family is equally important. For Lamongan Shorebase, we are part of the community, part of the big family.

This year we provided food boxes for all the residents near the Al-Abror Mosque to break fast after the sun has set.

LS Break Fasting 2016

Fasting lets us experience a little of what less privileged people throughout the world go through on a daily basis, and allows us to better ourselves through sharing and compassion.

Every year at Lamongan Shorebase, we celebrate the holy month of Ramadan together. This year however, we invited the children from Rumah Pintar, an orphanage that we constantly engage with, to come and dine with us. The opening prayers were conducted by these children.

We sang, danced, and dined together, like one big happy family.

Pertamina Badminton Friendly Match

The Pertamina Friendly Match consisted of 5 pairs per side; 5 from Team Lamongan Shorebase and 5 from Pertamina. Each pair had to face off all the opposing team’s pairs.

It was a fun and enjoyable match, both Pertamina and Lamongan Shorebase playing together not for competition, but for fun and sportsmanship.

We hope to play with Pertamina and all our customers in the future.

Blood Donation

Today marks the end of our first quarterly blood donation for the year 2016. We have successfully achieved over 100 blood donators!! We will continue to contribute blood nation-wide to save others.

Blood donation continues to be a drive for Lamongan Shorebase to better facilitate our spirit of sharing.

 

Healthy for Life Balai Desa Kemantren

Lamongan Shorebase conducted a Corporate Social Responsibility program for the less fortunate at Balai Desa Kemantren. We set up medical checkup center with a clinic and specialized doctors to help provide free medical care to those that are in need of it.

With the help of paramedics from Al Arsy Hospital Puskesdes, together we helped almost 300 people.

 

 

Muria Building

Today we celebrate the opening of Lamongan Shorebase’s new building, Muria. This new building is dedicated for our customers such as PHE, Petronas, and others to name a few.

In this momentous occasion, both customers and staff join together in prayer and feast. The new building is two stories tall with fully equipped facilities such as state of the art meeting rooms, a dining hall, VIP bathrooms, and more.

The representative of the customers, PHE Superintendent, Pak Alfian Idris, and our Operations Manager, Pak Sugeng Sudarman, cut the tumpeng and shook hands to seal the deal.
