On-job Training SMK Tarbiyatus Shibyan Kemantren Paciran Lamongan – Procurement, FIN, Fleet OPS Department

Lamongan Shorebase is excited to announce the initiation of an On-Job Training (OJT) program in partnership with SMK Tarbiyatus Shibyan Kemantren Paciran Lamongan, scheduled from January 15, 2024, to July 30, 2024. This program is designed to provide students with practical, hands-on experience in key departments including Procurement, Finance, and Fleet Operations. By integrating academic learning with real-world applications, Lamongan Shorebase aims to equip young talents with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in the maritime and corporate sectors.

Throughout the six-month training period, participants will engage in various projects and daily operations under the mentorship of experienced professionals. In the Procurement department, students will learn about supplier management and contract negotiations, while the Finance team will introduce them to budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting. The Fleet Operations department will offer insights into vessel management, logistics, and operational efficiency. Idul Adha 1445H

In celebration of Idul Adha 1445H, the community around the Lamongan Shorebase area participated in the annual tradition of qurban by slaughtering a total of 2 cows and 6 goats. At SUMUR SEPAKU, one cow was sacrificed, and at the Al-Kautsar Mosque and EKS, one goat each was slaughtered, bringing a sense of unity and gratitude among the local residents. The event was marked by collective prayers and the distribution of meat to the less fortunate, embodying the spirit of sharing and compassion that defines Idul Adha.

In the Kemantren village area, the Al-Abror Mosque witnessed the sacrifice of one cow and one goat, while additional goats were slaughtered at Makam Mbah Wiro Mantri and the RN Office. Meanwhile, in the Paciran area, a goat was slaughtered at HNSI Paciran. These activities were carried out with great enthusiasm and devotion, as villagers came together to perform the qurban rituals. The distributed meat provided much-needed support to many families, fostering a sense of community and reinforcing the bonds of solidarity among the villagers.
