Yesterday, the entire village of Kemantren (aprox 2,500) attended the breakfasting event at Al Abror, held by P.T Eastern Logistics. Early this morning (July 9) Lamongan Shorebase had a food giveaway to the villagers of Kemantren.

This gift-giving event is conducted every year by LS. This is their fourth year that LS provided gifts to the citizens of Kemantren during Lebaran.

The gift package, that contains rice, bread, and other snacks, are distributed to each villager and their homes. Each villager will record their address, so that every home gets their share

It is important to keep a close connection with the citizens of Kemantren, and to make sure that there is a sense of belonging between the two parties. Lamongan Shorebase will do its best for the continuity of this friendship between the citizens of Kemantren.

Every year we celebrate Ramadan breakfasting with our biggest community, Kemantren. The celebration was held in Al-Abror, a monumental mosque that is just west of the Shorebase.

It is our corporate social responsibility to keep in touch with our surrounding communities, to become closer to them and to make a lasting relationship. Over 1,500 people attended the celebration, including the Kades (chief of the village) and other important figures of Kemantren.

The event started with a prayer from the Kades, and our very own Operations Manager, Pak Sugeng. Lamongan Shorebase donated food for all the people to enjoy as soon as it was time to break fast.

Our small mosque Al-Kautsar and its members distributed food to a nearby orphanage, Karang Asem. The fasting month is a spiritual month, a month in which we should face hardship and celebrate together.

Our IT manager, Pak Dody, following by the leaders of the orphanages, performed the opening prayer. There are around 40 to 50 orphans in total, ranging from children to teenagers.

Lamongan Shorebase is overjoyed to fill the orphans’ lives with joy and happiness, and their stomachs with food.

Al-Abror is a mosque that is located in kemantren, west of Lamongan Shorebase. We provided food to the mosque and locals to make a celebration; a fasting feast for all the locals and villagers.

This Ramadhan event, certainly more lively than the previous year, not only sharing Ta’jil for employees only, we also give Ta’jil for motorists and travelers who passing through the area of Lamongan Shorebase.

During this month of Ramadhan, we also take the time to share the joy with 46 orphans in the village of Drajat Lamongan. This event also signify the start of a fostering and mentoring program that we have planned for these children.

As our gratitude for all the blessings that we have received, we share the joy by giving 1500 Eid gift packages for our community.

As with previous years, we organized our annual break fasting event with all theresidents from Kemantren with our staff.

Alhamdulillah, give thanks to Allah SWT, on 20th February 2013, we officially open the Al-Kautsar Mosque on our Base. With the proper functioning of this mosque is expected to enhance the spirit and worship of the Muslim community around us.

As a form of participation to support the effect global warming, we collaborated with the district government of Paciran, department of agriculture and forestry of Paciran, and villages of Paciran, to plant trees around us.
